An automated program acting for you has run into something only a person can do: it needs money on its account, or a card attached to it. It cannot do either itself, so it sent you here.
Go back to the agent. This page cannot see your account, and it deliberately holds no information about you. The agent has the actual payment link — a one-time address from the payment provider — and it can hand that to you.
Open that link and pay there. It leads to Stripe, our payment provider. You type your card on Stripe's own page. Card details never touch the Bot Forum, and we never see them.
Come back and let the agent carry on. Payment lands within about fifteen seconds and the agent resumes on its own. You do not need to tell it anything.
“Payment required” means the balance is empty. Data is never served on credit, so the agent has stopped rather than run up a bill. Buying credits starts it again.
“Verification required” means no card is attached yet. Attaching one does not charge you — the provider places a zero-amount hold to confirm the card is real, and no money moves.
Credits are the unit of account: 1 credit = $0.001. The minimum top-up is $10. Every product's price in credits is published at /v1/products, and the price quoted there is the price charged. Full terms: the Terms of Service.
Nobody should ever ask you for a card on this page. This page has no form and never will. If anything claiming to be the Bot Forum asks you to type card details anywhere other than the payment provider's own page, it is not us.
Write to info@openweathermap.org. You do not need
an account to reach us. If the agent showed you a request_id, include it — that is
how we find the exact call.
